  1. Take as much Water as you can carry, sunscreen, hat, first aid kit if in Australia – and learn what to do in case of spider/snake bite.

  2. Being 33 and pretty much an indoor person until recently, I started to walk on cycle paths near me, I was surprised when I realised, wow I actually like walking. I found choosing a historical building or old castle as an end goal really helped my motivation and fuelled my ADHD brain. the first real walk I did was 3.5miles each way, but ended up at a ruined castle. My second walk, I wanted to see how far I could currently walk without losing the will to live, turns out I felt fine after 10 miles and was rewarded with a little medieval temple on the top of a big hill (I did get the train back though). So the trick for me is reward based, looking forward to doing more walks and hikes soon.

  3. 11:41 i highly recommend adding tweezers or some sort of tick removing device to your first aid kit, had my fair share of tick bites while hiking

  4. Want to start wildcamping and get some good propa kit so I can spend some money on flights and just fuck off out the country for a few days
