I been camping since I was a kid with family and in scouts. And one of the biggest things is to have a list of what I’m taking with me. I was taught that as a scout, and I do it no matter what kind of camping I am going to do. Rather if I’m going by myself , with my family or friends. Because when I go with family it is completely different than when I go hunting or with friends. You can always add or remove stuff from your list. Over time you will find what works for you, in all the situations.
I would recommend putting a tarp under your tent
The must for fires…put your fire out…!!
One of the ways forest fires start, is cooking in a fire, not putting it out completely cold.. animals are attracted to the scent of food, dip into the fire ring, tail or fur gets caught, they run into the forest and start the fire.
Skunks, raccoons, squirrels have started forest fires.
The perfect video! Ty
